If you’re looking for a good blogging platform with Github pages, there’s Octopress, which is quite nice.
Tumblr is always a great choice for a blog
I second that. But I would also try wordpress
My website is powered by WordPress. Its alright, I don’t absolutely love it but I would recommend it. Tumblr just makes it much easier to make your content get noticed because its a social network and a blog in one. In this case I would actually recommend Tumblr more because you can gain more players by tagging your posts and hoping people see them. With a website you’ll have to spread the word. Tumblr can do that for you!

What’s Been Up:
I’m having so much fun making this and posting about this game. It’s been a blast! Though I really need a blog, but I’m too lazy to make one. :-\ Sorry about not posting on 0.2.0 I totally forgot considering the fact that I finished it late at night and went right to sleep. Any suggestions on the game so far? I plan on adding new maps soon, but I also need new guns, new zombies, and new ideas in general. Is there any way I could improve gameplay and make the graphics look more unique? All suggestions are welcome. ;D

You’re welcome to beat me, I just had 1760 points and am #6 on GameJolt’s scoreboard (my attempt to beat #1 failed horribly).
I had to play it after hearing this game was in ‘beta-stage’, so I tried it, and I must say… I found some bugs! (surprise)
You shouldn’t make it shoot if you click at the ‘menu-bar’ with the pause button stuff, You get free extra bullets
The others were some shooting bugs and the ammo doesn’t work on other guns (never got more than 50).
Also, something you said in the kickstarter thread, you had plans to make it a great game and develop it further, etc.
I really have admiration for that, I mean when I started to program games I made a tons of projects (and abandoned them after a few weeks).
Haha fuck yes, screen shake. Honestly every time I see it I get goosebumps.
Might I recommend some randomness to the bullets? Vary their Y velocity by a small margin to give it a “spray” effect, simple feature that gives the feeling of “I am spraying these bitches”.
This will also allow you to add controlled bursts to the machine gun as opposed to full on auto, people better be accurate!
Some little things that are easy to add:
Vary the zombie speed
Add knockback + zombie health
Get a zombie animation in there, even a cheap rough one to make it look more intuitive
I have a little bit of a negative feedback though, although it is still in early development…I honestly hate the fact it takes me more than 1 click to simply restart, no offense but me personally I do not care about submitting highscore, logging in or anything like that at this stage. The foundation for it is there, maybe remove it until the game is more polished. Just my 2 cents.
I want to verify that the Gamejolt post is not the actual game! Haha that is an old version I made a year ago. Please do not critique the old game becuase I don’t even have the source for it. Haha. I will probably post the new version today. All the things gibbo suggested was already added.
Anyways the one on gamejolt is old, as in years old. It really isn’t the same game. Haha
