i ported most of the C fmod examples to my bindings.
then i wrote a fmod dsp to display a 5.1 waveform by sticking the audio-buffer address into a vertex shader, which had, as expected, threading issues - it did flicker in unnatural ways but did not explode my computer, which is good enough :
