Thanks for your support @Nate
BTW, weāre also on Steam GreenLight Concepts ;D
Has there been any progress? When can we get a playable demo? Iām more interested in this.
@SHC Weāre close to release a playable demo, itāll take one month at most
And todayā¦ new enemies! Those are the last that weāll include in the first playable alpha Smiley
A classic enemy: the shield enemy!
And a spiderbot waking up:
Hope you like it!
They are very nice. Waiting for a playable demo. Good luck.
Are you accepting donations for this project? Iād love to help support it
@kpars Thanks for you support! Youāll be able to support this project in a future through crowdfunding. Weāll launch the crowdfunding shortly after the release of a playable demo
And now, a new micro-update ;D
Our friends of Esoteric Software have made a second kickstarter for their amazing bone-animation program: Spine. Give it a try if you didnāt yet, and please, consider supporting them because the new features are really cool: Free Form Deformation, Meshes, IKā¦(cāmon we need it desperately for development of Trashman !!!).Andā¦ Weāre on their new KickStarter video!
This week weāve been working on some enemies (space turrets and jelly enemies with a shield), particle effects, the HUD and some decorative elements.
Here you have some plants sketchesā¦
ā¦and their final animated version:
Lastly we want to show you the first video of The Intergalactic Trashman (from march 2013). Itās an animations and physics early test. Hope you enjoy it ;D

Space (gatling) turrets:
The screenshot for the screenshot saturday. There is no ambient light on it, and an error on the color of the tilesā¦but wow look! the new shield enemy is there! ;D and the little spiderbot too
You are having the awesome. Iām waiting for the chance to test the awesome.
Woo Release it before Dec 17, pretty please
Looks very nice, I like the art
Good job
This game is possibly the most beautiful f***ing thing Iāve ever seen on this forum.
Wonderful work! This was done with proper design: The background is ambient, entities stay really apparent on the screen without looking obviously different from the scenery, itās perfect. It feels like a game. Itās so game-y. I love it.
Canāt wait for the release
Thanks for your support!
Yes, weāre still alive!
Last week we released a āfriend versionā of the pre-alpha, in order to solve the max number of bugs for public release. Weāve solved a lot of little damn bugs, and now we want to add some features.
Final tasks for this week: Translate everything to english (weāve done all the texts in spanish for our families and friends), solve a couple of weird bugs, and add the gamepad support. Thank you for your interest and patience
Andā¦ BTW, our Ludum Dare 28 game āWilhelmās escapeā (Trashman is hidden inside :P)

Really hope you like it
Cheers!
Just beautiful. The art is beautiful. The animation is beautiful. The design is beautiful. I canāt wait to play it. I can see this becoming a huge success.
Itās looking really sweet!
I feel (having never played it of course) like the platformer parts needs a little moreā¦ something. The art, animations, lighting, etc is great, but itās somehow missing little things. Have you seen this?
Thank you all! ;D
@Nate The game lacks many things. With this prealpha we want to show you the game mechanics. By the way, thanks for the link, weāll watch it
@SHC Itās a free font, you can use it In a future, weāll make our own font.
Since the game looks awesome in every other aspect you have to think about changing the music. IĀ“ve listened to the music in the pre-alpha movie and it just doesnĀ“t cut it. The melodies and the chords doesnĀ“t really fit together and the ādistorted guitarā synthsound is not pleasing to my ears at all. The gameplay looks great, the graphics are great and it would be a shame to release a great game that doesnĀ“t sound good.
