Can you go into more detail on your UI framework? Is it scene graphs or something? I too have been thinking of making a UI framework, but I’ve been too preoccupied to look for some common practices… But it seems like you’ve got a really good thing going there.
If you’re interested, I spent some time to make a small UI library for OpenGL. You can browse the code if you want. The UI code is in the [icode]com.digiturtle.common[/icode] and [icode]com.digiturtle.ui[/icode] packages.
For Christmas, I got my first mechanical keyboard (A DAS Model S Professional). Very clicky, and very fun :D.
I also got a Galaxy S5, switching from a long line of Iphones. I rooted it as soon as I got it, and I am absolutely loving it!
Any suggestions for what I should do with it (geek-wise)?
Continued developing the ui system for my personal game dev lib
Improved a ton of code. The ui system is quickly becoming extremely modular while remain clean and super lightweight.
Improvements only bring a single simple component today, a spinner! Even though it’s so simple the code that enables it opens many doors~
Fixed gifcam. Win8 display setting was scaled to 125% needs to be 100%
Find out what pins are the power button on your motherboard, and you should be able to just bridge it with something like a screw driver (something metal) to short it.
I fixed it. Turns out the power/reset connector was the same as the HDD/Power LED connector so I just switched them. I can start it up but no lights. Will complain to store soon.
My graphics card was out of stock and shuold arrive on Tuesday, and I can’t download the OS until new years because of internet bandwidth limits. But at least everything seems to be working.
Limits? Uh… Around 10.4 TB/month I guess? That’s what I have time to download in 30 days at 4.2 MB/sec anyway. Sucks that I live in the suburbs of Stockholm and can’t even get 1 Gbit fiber or even 100 Mbit cable. Have to settle for 60 Mbit ADSL which only nets around 34 Mbit due to long telephone cable length to the nearest station…
