What I did today

Haha, I have to stop reading your posts literally.

That’s interesting about the feed in tariff, i didn’t realise that it exists in different countries. They had it here too but it just ran out and was not extended as far as I know.
There’s a pay back calculator here which is interesting, and you’re right that its a 5yr payback. It’s calibrated to australia but you could substitute dutch figures:

However the firm who made this model are obviously selling solar panels so they use over optimistic inputs such as 70 percent usage of the solar power even though you’re not at home using power while at work.

Murdered 3 mosquitoes…

Apart from that, slept most of the day (was awake up to 3:40 AM yesterday) and just now started back on the daily routines.

Just murdered another mosquito making the count to 4.

What do you guys think of this? Trying to get a OpenAL port for GWT under the name GWT-AL. Any thoughts on this logo?

@SHC Why is the trumpet — I assume it is a trumpet, or at least some kind of wind instrument — blurred out so much? I guess you could just have it alone, unblurred, and that would make a simple enough logo. Or just make the “” smaller perhaps? And also maybe add a background, something green or blue would do fine imo. :point:

@Riven that must have been absolutely terrible. (Also why is the “insert quote” button to the upright side of each message under the message editor not working?)

Its not Solar ^^
Its slippery roof…

Please be careful, we need you
An remember – SAFETY is important, safety must be before everything else,
Safety – safety- safety – safety and safety

Safety Third. :point:

I was never in any danger guys. I am so careful with these things that even if I’d suddenly lost consciousness whilst on the roof, and dropped like a ragdoll, nothing would have happened, as I had myself tied to a 1920 era solid chimney, with only a few loose bricks, mostly held together by gravity, crumbly when leaned against, impervious to anything but water since the early 1960’s. So only if my supposedly unconscious zombie mind would have decided to actively leap off the roof, no longer capable of suppressing the urge for brainz - taking with me the glorious masonry - I would’ve been in serious trouble.

Amateur. My walls (and 1 window) are covered with the two-dimensional remains of those suckers (and a bit of my blood).

18 confirmed kills since the last time I cleaned them all off (a month or so ago). 14 with a book against the wall and 4 with bug spray (because I can’t reach the ceiling).

I’d like to think that the violent display of what happens to mosquitos is what has scared them all off lately, but it’s probably the fact that I now keep my windows shut all the time.

went from java 7 to 8 with no pain but also no gain.

Started making a website for my First Recon game. First time I’ve done css in 3 years xD

explored 2d particles again.

Guys I need your opinion now, have four versions for the logo, but I’m preferring C and D from them.

What do you think of?

i think … day of the tentacle,

and [icode]C || D > A && B[/icode]

o/

A is best in my opinion.

A and B are inconsitent in style (instrument with sharp, cartoon like edges vs. none on the text and the brackets). In addition, B looks unfinished with that white part. D shows no connection between the text and the instrument. They look like two separate parts to me. I would go with C.

I would go with D, it looks a bit better / easier to read when down-scaled, since no parts overlap!
But C is good too, even though it bugs me that the trumpet is bent ;D

[icode]sax > trumpet[/icode]

I wrote a small game using the lwjgl and started to write an editor for it today.
To allow me to use the game source for rendering aso I sketched a small GLPanel class for lwjgl3.
It works suprisly well. Ok the class it not usefull for everyone who wants performance but fine for my small editor

Why are you showing the NanoVG demo then? What exactly did you do?
That NanoVG Demo
That same NanoVG Demo
Another copy of that same NanoVG Demo
JGO forum entry of Spasi showing that same NanoVG demo

I wrote the code in the pastebin I posted :point:

Yes, that everlasting topic of LWJGL 3 / Swing integration. Someone should really do something about it.
