I think java2D is good - the game must not be perfect

First, i think, we must have an topic for the game.
I think, an medieval theme is good.
And the story… here are an proposal:
A young man - 20 years living in the mystery Land [oh, say me a name!! ;)].
One day his father was killed from a Ork.
The man will avenge his father.
So this is my little Story. I know its short, but we can it make bigger.
A next, i will make a inventory of arms, Armour,drinks, animals, hostiles towns and so.
please add something to the list.

Theme medieval and father killed by ork?
Why not something unique?
African fantasy setting? that is not something you see every day. You father was the villages ancestor spirit talker, and you are going to inherit the title. After the first year of education, your father is killed by a hyena man. The village are now threatened from all around, without it’s spirit talker. It’s up to you to take up your fathers mantle, even though you don’t have the full education of a spirit talker. Your guiding spirit Matoboo will help you on your quest. Ultimately, you will uncover the plot why your father was killed, and stop evil (probably an unholy alliance between hippos and hyenas).
