I plan on playing it a lot as it is very smooth and runs 60+ FPS on an old pc, I am going to build a very nice computer within a week and plan to get a lot more so I will play this game
only glitch noticed so far:
the ‘press Z to exchange’ when standing over a weapon blinks and flashes randomly.

I’ll try to see whats causing the flashing of the press Z text, I noticed it once before.
Sadly a new form of the reset bug has shown up. I edited some code on the server side, so if anyone’s stuff gets reset please remember what series of steps occurred before this. Also the way it has been occurring this time is when people initially play the game, it is reset. So also when you exit the game, remember which room you left from.

A few points (1) it was not very clear that jump activates the teleporter on the first screen, or that you have to click “episode1” to continue.
(2) a minor thing – some of the pink jelly baddies seem to sit on top of each other whilst moving – looks a bit weird. (3) the game pauses when mouse is outside of playing area – good idea in general but in your game it is a bit annoying since one naturally puts the pointer outside the area to aim. Perhaps you could make it tolerant to 200 pixels out without pausing (4) The game seems a bit too hard at the beginning – (or I am just a bit rubbish at playing it!)
The style seems quite retro, e.g. early 1990s. My monitor is quite large so the playing area seems a bit small and fiddly. It would be great to have a fullscreen option, dunno how feasible this is given it’s an applet.
This game is very slick. Well done. I am keen to see where it goes.

- Yes I realize, I’ll have to either display a press up message or have it earlier on in training. And now it displays choose episode.
- Fixed.
- The game pauses when you click off game screen. If you move your mouse off the game screen it will not aim. Not much I can do about this.
- Yes it is hard, I was planning on redoing the beginning maps to include easier enemies. I will do this pretty soon since I have been redoing the enemy code.
Hello everyone, its been a while, heh. Well I just put up an update, no new maps yet. We hope to finish them up tomorrow and put them up by Sunday if not earlier.
This new update has a lot of little cool tweaks that make the game look more polished. If you want more info I’ll be posting a blog explaining it pretty soon.

- I relly like how the boss looks now. He is also different. Wasnt exactly expecting it so I got raiped.

I tried this out a while ago. I hated how it made me go through all these tutorials before I could play, than I gave up when I reached a puzzle that I couldn’t figure out.
You should add a “just play” button, and maybe even a level select.
Also, I dislike the art style, but that’s personal opinion.
It was polished nicely though.
You can just play, you have to create an account though. So the game can save everything.

Ah, I see. You should make it so you don’t have to create an account to just play though. Personally I dislike creating accounts. You could turn it into a JWS and just have it load/save save files.
what is a JWS(just curious ;D)?

I have thought of that, but if I did that I still would want it to save to the database, because the purpose is to create a community. Then once multi-player comes out everything is ready.
