ah ok sets timer to Wednesday
Grats!
How much do you get out of the 13.49?
Some nice changes! I like the simplified tech progression trees and lack of cost of tech upgrades. Game purchased.
I think technically royalty rates are under NDA but it’s a “well known secret” Valve take 30% commission - which is excellent, and one of the many reasons they’re so great to work with.

Great! Congrats!
Please keep us updated about the sale-stats!
That’s quite nice indeed, let us know when you sell game number 100.000
Technically we’ve already sold 250,000 or so but that’s the Humble Indie Bundle talking

Reviewed on Eurogamer.
“Made by a couple of British guys in their spare time, you know. Well done, couple of British guys.”
So, finally after looking on and off at RotT for a week now. I finally decided to go ahead and get it on steam.
I had been torn, on if I would personally enjoy it or not.
The game feels/looks different then the trailer video and screenshots.
I haven’t played it super far yet, but I love it!! Excellent!
I am going to write a review/impressions/feedback as I work my way through completing it.

When dialogue is playing between levels, allow 2 clicks or 2 spacebars(or even 1) to make it full text, because I can read faster than it appears and its slightly annoying. Most games support skip to full text of current window. Thanks!

At some level, a tool tip came up, right as the level ended, but it was “hidden” behind the end level window, and then it disappeared. Please make tool tips, appear in a location that they stay visible(are not obstructed by other menus)
I think it was a tool tip about not needing to sell things before the game ends? But there was more to it I couldn’t read? -
Sometimes its not overly obvious(at least in lower levels) that a titan is attacking a building. It looks as if they are skirting by the side, by attacking it. Things are getting hit and flashing. Do titans have an attack animation that is highly visible?

Although its a “game design” choice. I’d love to be able to see remaining crystals amount in crystal(if hovered)(maybe its a later tech, I dont know)
-
although it took a little while to understand the whole “1 tech upgrade per level” system. Maybe I over looked something, but I was confused until the 3rd time I was there and it sunk in.

The mustache dude talking sounds a little odd, and also slightly repetitive. I know hes not saying real words. Its intentionally gibberish. That is fine and I like it. but I feel it repeats the sound a lil too regular, enough to be noticed and bothered by it slightly.

Love the controls, the main menu, the windows, LOVE the art style! Gameplay is fun, extremely responsive, the main game feels intuitive, solid pace, feels like its not lacking anything.

Although I know you intentionally slightly obscure the tech upgrades, I think it adds to the game. I think I saw some people wanting to know the stats/details before hand. And I thought that earlier on. Then I realized how much more I enjoyed not knowing the exact details. Because it didn’t make me sit there comparing 10 different things to find the “best” thing. I tend to be slightly obsessively over calculating/comparing.(I sometimes spend hours trying to decide on builds prior a RPG, and I’m not a big RPG fan, just obsessive chooser) It was more sorta, that looks neat, lets try that. Oh well, if it wasn’t great, it mighta been a pre req, or I can get something else next time.

I will add more, maybe as the game develops.
This game is great. I love playing it.
Hurrah!

Game of the Week
It is now painfully clear that Cas spent all his Humble Indie Bundle money on beer for the Eurogamer staff.
Congrats on getting “featured” by the Yogscast!
Yeah, who the hell are Yogscast anyway? I’d never heard of them and suddenly it’s all fame and fortune.
Simon really can’t play Revenge either, hehe :

A brand new version of Revenge of the Titans is out! v1.80.14 - if any of you could test the Linux and Mac versions out a bit more thoroughly I would be very grateful.
This version’s got completely new mouse handling (which might work with tablets too!), and uses the very latest LWJGL, so it should work more reliably. Also it’s got a special secret mode which will activate itself in a few days’ time…

Did I ever mentioned that I love this game? Not just from the gameplay (I kinda suck to be honest) but the beauty lies in the details as I like to say xD Really polished games, I hope I can get close to this kind of game with my own someday! Also the Source proved to quiet helpful in my darkest hours (Still can’t warp my head around OpenAL stuff but I will get to that, really nice idea to have your own format with a set loop point. My Idea was to do some channel music like Zelda but weeee~ no time to learn cool new stuff :/)
Got strange issue with sound. Samples are repeating very fast many times instead of one time as it obviously should be. I’ve got not very ‘standard’ soundcard onboard - EMU1212, but can’t remember I experienced any problems with other Win games/apps (but, probably, I didn’t run Java games before).
I think it is problem with library you’re using. Exactly same issue with ‘Square II’ featured here, but ‘Age of Conquest III’ plays sounds and music without any problems.
The sound is all through OpenALSoft, not done by Java. I’m not really sure how OpenALSoft works under the hood but you somehow forgot to mention any other system specs.

Hmm… not sure what else is important in this case, cause I think other system params are nothing special here:
Win XP Pro SP3, 32bit on i5-2400, 3.5GB RAM.
