Well, I geuss I’ll start!
Back-Man. Basically, pac man can go back in time. You get a limited bar of how far back you could go. It will regenerate if you get a “time pellet.”

A nifty idea I’ve thrown around for some time:
The game is at a fixed, small size. Its character is able to move across the screen just like any game. Upon hitting the edge of the game’s window however, you move the entire thing. This is used to scroll the map, discovering that all levels are the size of the monitor.
Similar to a side-scroller, but the view is not centered on the player but rather pushed by the player. I’m not keen to Java so I’ll leave this idea to anybody out there!

I’m liking your 3rd idea, the ‘risk zone’. I might play with that idea in the future. Coincidentally i watched the Silent Hill movie yesterday; reminds me a bit of when “the darkness” approaches. Good stuff HeroesGrave, cheers.

A Platformer style kart racing game? Players race by running kart in a platformer level.

Ideas are free*

Giving credit for ideas cannot be forced. It is completely up to the person using the idea. If the said person wants to be a loser, then there is nothing you can do to stop them.

To conclude: Be nice to people who help you.

  • … Unless you have a patent for it, and I don’t see how/why anyone would try and patent a game concept

First person Shooter.
You are actually controlling a badassmotherfucker going around shooting bad guys, maybe taking cover.

Blood/quake2/heretic mashup. Plus the main character is a bit crazy.

A Zombie First Person Shooter where you play as the zombie.

Game of Patents (I’m being serious here!)

It’d be like game of thrones, only instead of everyone wanting the throne, everyone is fighting for a patent.

Also, would feature character classes such as Troll, Keyboard Warrior, Angry gamer nerd, Thumbstick ninja and Hashtag mage.

I require credit for this idea :slight_smile:

(Seriously though, it’d be like a DLC quest sequel. It would mock all the damn publishers and developers patenting words and names and kicking up a stink because a game has the name “Scrolls” in it -_-)

A top-down puzzle game where the only parts visible are the parts that you can’t see. Opposite of normal 2d visibility.

Time Travel simulator.

Basically every time you start a game, the universe is simulated to the point where the player enters the equation the the player can jump back in time and the game can just simulate more time whenever the player wants to go forward. Some interesting stuff can be made out of this. I would make it myself but there are too many variables to handle and really don’t have time.
