[PAID] BTCDraft.com is Looking for Games

Hello, I speak on behalf of btcdraft.com we are a small startup company who have made a site and are in need of games now. We figured we would come to the community and offer to buy some games off your guys or offer you royalties for the hosted game on the site. The requirements are. The games has to be catchy. the games have to be operated via a coin input. the games have to have a highscore goal and out put for a game pot. We will charge players to play the games and the funds will go in the games “game pot” the users who failed to set a high score lose thieir coins and they go in to the pot and the user who beats the new high score wins the game pot. we get paid by fees and so would you we would pay you in either bitcoin or another form of payment.

Please email me @ simonsez@btcdraft.com or msg me here and i will get back to you.

I hope someone else shares my opinion that this is no place to advertise a gambling site. This is a family orientated community and we have people of all ages.

There is a difference between the games we make here and what you are after.

If for whatever reason someone on here did want to take part in the creation or contribution to these “games” at least put some effort into your post.

It doesn’t matter. Not a single game here would be eligible.

OH i apologize if you think we are here advertising. We are looking for community support not looking to advertise here. We want to buy or pay royalties to people who make games. We are merely asking if there are people who want to get their games out there and make some money off it. We arn’t offering a gambling experience we are offering a place to win credits for being good at games and u can cash them out for real money or bitcoins. Who knows some 1 big could come across your game on our site and want to buy it off you. I mean Not everyone on here is making these game for free im sure people want to make some money for their offers.

Look somewhere else, most game developers here use open-source licenses, and every other license is just too much paperwork (plus all that transfer of rights from the original owner to someone else… Ugh). And, I highly doubt you’ll find a game developer here that makes gambling games (which no-one should make, because gambling, even only virtual and free, is bad. Very, VERY bad).

Hello, We dont want gambling games. We want arcade games, like the ones being made here. We dont want to purchase licensing if we dont have to. We need games that people can play that will pass the time. the only thing we want to add to this, is we want to charge players to play the game. we act as an escrow for the game pot. Players will attempt to beat the current highscore for a change to win the accumulated game pot. the game pot is made up from previous attempts on beating the high score. that’s it no gambling nothing and we want to pay royalties to you guys fro offering us game to feature…

Once you have enough coins you can withdraw them to cash or bitcoins.

Sounds a lot like gambling, if you ask me. Money goes in, if player does something right, money goes out. Yep, that’s gambling to me.

Agreed yes it does sound like gambling if you word it that way. We arnt asking for users to make a gambling game we are asking for arcade games. The “gambling” part you keep referring to is done by the site. The game just needs to charge players to play and out put a high score. It may be a gamble to Win the jackpot but its not gambling to charge a person to play a game. We require working games that work by credits like in a real live Arcade… If arcades were gambling then they would need casino licenses.

I’m not a fan of the proposed scheme, but this is not quite like gambling. You mostly pay to play the game, for the game itself. The ‘win the pot’ angle is so crude that I expect it will fail to hook people drawn to gambling. At the same time I expect anybody not drawn to gambling to scream bloody murder about such a scheme. Question is… who’s left? Who’s the tiny target audience?

Oh well, maybe my flimsy analysis is bonkers.

The reason people are giving you so much flak is because you’re going about this the wrong way.

If you want to hire a programmer to make your game, then do that. But like others have said, the types of people who frequent this forum aren’t really the type of people you’re looking for.

But it sounds like you don’t want to hire a programmer, you want to solicit game uploads from the public. If so, how mature is your site? Can we see what you have so far? How much can somebody expect to make if they create a game? What games do you already have? What percentage of your business model is based off of games? What percentage of revenue can the makers of those games expect to receive? Do you have some kind of an API that developers can hook into? How are you going to implement this payment feature in the games?

If you don’t have solid answers to all of those questions, you aren’t ready to be making this kind of post.

The problem is that we’ve seen this type of offer before. “Make us games for cheap now, and you can share the profits later!” Sorry, but that’s not going to happen.

Until you have something substantial to offer people, people won’t offer you anything substantial in return.

You’re sending quite a convoluted message if you’re not looking for gambling games…

EDIT: Please note that I went to your site really hoping to find an arcade environment like you described. But the fact that you’re lying to us about the nature of your site seems to be quite disturbing and I think people on this site care more for ethics than money. If you do decide to create a website like the one you’re describing please come back but right now, we’re not your target audience.

Thank you for your responses. We are a new startup company. We would rather just pay people to use their games on our site. We dont wan any games made exclusively for the site. We own xxx and are adding it to our site for our casino side of the site. I am not familiar with Coding games And did not know how it would be done. I figured that a game dev would have to add our coin system to the game and not the other way around like you said by using an API. I would rather Pay some one for the game but i figured no one wanted to “give up” their games so i offered a Royalties feature to you guys. The market we are aim towards in the BITCOIN market and the ALTCOIN market they are small only 5.5 Billion with a B in bitcoin. WE are hoping that our arcade section of the Site will attract a younger audience and our casino side will attract a more mature audience. Our Coins are constantly going up in value and can be traded at any time. We can only estimate the game dev could make aprox 5-10 bitcoins over the 6 month period once the site is live. inc casino. each coin is approx 380$ We ahve 0 games currently but are buying 4 licenses from novelgames for the arcade. we currently have 5 Casino Games with in our lobby set up. We are currently Investigating the best possible ways to incorporate the api you refereed to for the devs. We were hoping the payment feature would be added with in the game if possible. If not it would be done through the website.

Yes that is the layout and in the Draftgames section is the Arcade and Casino Lobby diff pages for 2 different audiences. When my grandmother goes to the casino she plays slots and stupid simple games to make or lose cash we want to be able to offer some thing to all audiences. Liek adding a mahjong game or an astroids game where u can make money to play if ur good

Here I have a galaga clone.

It looks nice I will test out game and let you know what our team thinks. Thank you,

We like it how hard would it be to change the main ship to a more viable colour and make the game a little more difficult with less “practice” time. Other then that we would be happy to have it on the site. please email me @ simonsez@btcdraft.com thank you.

I am going to end up regretting this, but here’s my arcade clone, JavaMan

I Like the Game concept but I think its just too simple for what we want. If your planning on adding Items like maybe a bot to chase u and a maze like u have but on a larger scale sort of like a Pac-man but your own version.

My game Ninjas vs Zombie Pirates
