linkage

It’s quite hard to find great articles about gamedesign/gameplay if you are really trying to find 'em. Therefore I start this thread - whenever you find an article worth beein read or a good page - drop it’s link here together with a short discription

page:ludology.org
“Ludology is a new discipline that studies games in general and computer games in particular. Here you will get news, opinions, upcoming conferences and links to articles.”

page:gamegirladvance.com
Ok. That page is very interesting. There aren’t many female gamers and the reasons get obvious if you read articles like Genderplay: Successes and Failures in Character Designs for Videogames

Article:Do Consumers Really Want Original Game Content?

[edit]
Just stumbled upon two articles at boomtown.net

Article:What makes a game work #1: Level Design

Article:What makes a game work #2: Graphics

What about creating a Page in the Wiki for that stuff? That would be much cleaner and easier to use

Done!

I broke up the references and added them to the “external references” pages.

Articles written by our own members is what I thought would go in our “Articles” section since it is WAAAY to easy to overdose on external articles.
