LOY2 is looking really good Kev  Maybe this is the one…?

Cas

Who knows? As always fingers crossed but I’ll build it anyway - looking back at last time it was awesome fun!

Cheers,

Kev

Always impressed with you work mate and this is awesome. You make simple drawing come to life, not everyone can do that!

Dear God, if you teach the zombies accounting, they’ll be able to afford their own chainsaw.

Yeah but imagine all the brains they could buy!

I’m loving the artwork and animation Kev. It’s actually quite inspiring!

nerb.

This is AWESOME!

Just one suggestion I have:

Please make sure to remove the “gap” of content where lots and lots of grinding is required to advance. In LOY (1) I’m sort of stuck in the area of level 18 to twenty-something, with no idea on what I should do or where I should go to advance.

I’m not a grinder in any RPG game, much less in one where there isn’t much action or skill required.

Thanks for the feedback folks!

Cheers,

Kev

Here we go with a very early demo video:

It’s all very early but it’s starting to work a few days in now.

Cheers,

Kev

Looks very neat!
Only the rain really looks like its stuck in a tile. Not sure if that is your intention

I’m currently running the line between keeping it looking old in style and making it look cool - still working of course

Kev

“The game is still turn based”
So this game will not be turn-based like LOY1? That would be great

And about the rain, here a nice fix (connection between textures (loopable) and maybe even 2 different textures):

(Just dropping links as they are easier to understand than my confusing words)

The weather effects are neat. I will say, I think the snow is a bit heavy and kind of makes it hard to see. Maybe consider making the flakes smaller, or lowering their alpha.

I love the lighting and the weather effects. :o
Some torches in the dungeon would be very nice with the lighting effect.

Cant wait to try it out.

With ‘still’ I think he means ‘just like in LOY1’

Looks awesome! Will there be ducks again ? :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn right!

Kev

Haha awesome! ;D

Silly question but: Why? Watching the video above, the game looks like it would be perfectly happy running in real time…?

And since you mention Ouya, I just have to say that a four-player Gauntlet-style LoY would be a dream come true. ;D

Distractions aside, the game so far looks magnificent.
