JGO coinage tally

this has to get big. first real bad publicity from an inside source and an explanation why so many appeals are being ignored.
on youtube too…

Well if it means anything, if the price is within my price range I’d have no problem buying some ad space on JGO for my game, once I get to that point. Even if the clicks I get don’t really amount to many sales. I’d just look at it like a recurring donation to keep the doors open.

Nothing can be said of the legitimacy of the source, not yet anyway.

I didn’t find the narrative convincing at all, but that’s not necessarily of any importance. The affected parties should be interested. I’ll wait and see if they come up with anything.

Numbers, names and dates are in the source. This makes it easy to falsify or validate. Combine that the motive for writing this. Balance of probability should say that its legit.

Have you even read the thing?

Balance of probability says absolutely nothing. We’ll have to wait and see what it turns out to be.

The hell are you talking about, its really specific about group names, functions, what happened when, what the orders where and when and from who (not by NAME, granted), how they were executed. ALL of them are either true or false - easy to validate from anybody who works there

I already read that many many accounts were indeed suspended shortly before payoff

Well, it’s a supposed leak. Maybe I needed to stress that more clearly. Indeed we’ll have to see how it plays out. It however matches up with a lot of publisher experiences - which either means it’s accurate, or carefully crafted.

I think the leak is false, it doesn’t make sense that Google would ban a website that is displaying successful AdSense advertisements, making money for the website publisher and google.
Perhaps this is a disgruntled employee or just a trouble-maker who made it all up.
Another question, why didn’t the people who resigned earlier in protest not spill the leak? They would have nothing to lose.

At first glance, yes, but Google AdSense doesn’t quite work like that. Advertisers (not publishers) often specify a daily budget, even if your screw over / kill off 25% of your publishers, your advertisers will spend roughly the same amount of money on ads, as you shrink the publisher pool, which forces the prices to go up for the remaining publishers, due to laws of supply and demand. Google is in the position to work the market this way, because they don’t have much competition.

You can still get sued if you share information about a company that you are not allowed to share (which is described in your contract).

If anything, this ‘leak’ (whether is it made up or not) shows that Google’s public relations are abysmal to the point where people are willing to believe that Google has been screwing them over, as part of their master plan.

True, it does sound like they have a public relations problem.

But I wonder how many scammers must try to rip money out of adsense? It might be that the 1% of innocents like JGO and otherpublisher websites have been massacred in the mass-banning of the scammers.

even if it were fake only good can come from this, this google’s customer service is abysmal and this might help a bit… maybe

also yeah, its never good if there are monopolies and adsense is one =/

Why not add a left sidebar that is visible to all users and keep other ads from others like chitika or something else?

After about five and a half years, we are in the black!

It took a bit of overzealous soul-selling - it’s a milestone nonetheless!

To celebrate this, the rather sexist Google AdSense ads will be disabled for good.

Good news! I did find those “girlfriend” ads rather upsetting.

You’ve got to give the weak gender a try, for once.
