Except in MSIE. I just gave up. Right there. The SMF <> JsSyntaxHighlighter combo is unstable, and I had to write a bunch of javascript to get it working in Firefox and Chrome. MSIE shows the non-highlighted version now, instead of crashing 8)
To clearify: what if the forum gets slashdotted. I am not willing to take the risk of paying a ‘surprise’ bill.
YouTube (and the like) is all we need.
If somebody else would offer hosting for videos, that would be fine by me. I could integrate it to JGO so that the videos would be streamed from your server.
Regarding applets: maybe. It might have a applet-launcher in front of it, which would check whether your JRE is up to date. I don’t want the JGO visitors to be infected by drive-by attacks in rogue applets.

Edit: wierd delay and screen flash as the page loads. I imagine there is some PHP somewhere so the highlighting could be done serverside, but then beggers can’t be choosers.
