Be part of shaping the mechanics /design of our game project!

Hey everyone,

Me and four others are studying Systems Science , currently attending a class in User Experience. Our task is to create two designs that is ready to be implemented. We have chosen to create a game in Java and we are interested in your opinions on interaction and user experience. We would be grateful for detailed replies, don’t be shy on leaving your comments. What we need now is input from the gaming community on how to make this the game YOU would like to play, taking aspects such as game mechanics, gameplay and/or design into consideration. I would be very thankful if you could spare a couple of minutes, click the link below and answer our google docs survey

On the “quick question” section a neutral answer is missing.
The questions are highly dependent on the game mechanics and context. I’m not sure I can correctly answer them.

How many people have answered this?

Hi

Thank you all for your feedback. I have edited the form a bit to make things a little clearer, i have also added new questions about the inventory system which is a great part of the interaction experience. Have also given a better description of the game, which is to be a top down shooter with a fixed camera. In other words, the ‘up’ button on one of the questions would make the character to up on the screen, instead of the other way of going in the direction he is facing.

Currently there are 5 answers, some have given us more feedback then others, maybe because of misunderstandings.
If you are answering the form again you can give us a note in the comments section.

I’ll give you our pardons for the earlier problems and are awaiting your feedback.
