Sorry if this is the wrong section. I can’t find anything relating to graphics design in JGO to post in 
Here is the logo so far. The gears don’t have anti-aliasing, because of the source I got it from. It is for a game engine with an editor. Any ideas?
Add gears some shadows, so it looks more beautiful. At the moment it’s just plain. Looks like tractor wheel.

A quick try at (read: crappy) some AA on the gear + a saturation gradient & subtle white highlight under the name:
Really you should change the colors of the gear I think, at least the off-white.
I actually can’t use a background, it was just for looks. The logo will be posted on forums, so it needs to be transparent. :hint: :hint:

Try adding some occlusion/drop shadow around the text and wheel. Also, is Embers possessive? If so, it should be “Ember’s”.
No, its just a name. Embers isn’t a person.
I already tried to add shadows to the text. It was too hard to read the text though.

If it’s like the logo, I can toss one together that’s a small version of the gear or something…
I meant for the things like file explorer, play button, level editor, maybe some example tile maps and such. Its for a game engine, if thats what you would be interested in. (With a cool lighting engine with different mappings too :D)
Probably don’t have time to get into all that, I have my own game to develop after all.
