animate in air or not

I am working on a simple 2-D game.

When you move the person int eh air, do you think they should animate as if on the ground?

I have already figured out how ot mkae it only move on the ground, but I am curious what other people think.

Uh, no offense, but this seems like a rather trivial thing to start a new thread about…

In general, I don’t like it when animations don’t match the action.

Depends on the game and depends on your own personal preference, seeing as you’re the developer here. I wouldn’t have it running, I’d have it playing a jump animation instead.
