At least you have a computer right now. Certain reasons why I don’t, and it sucks because I haven’t touched a piece of code in about 6 months!
Meanwhile in the streets there are kids growing up with guns. Be glad you have a laptop

Yeah, true. I get to know if it runs on machines similar to mine. Then again, it doesn’t help with gaming. Trust me, I play a lot of games, and it plain sucks to have to make sure that my laptop doesn’t overheat, even with a cooling pad…
Right now, I am saving up to build gaming computer though.
I agree with your last sentence but I spent several weeks in finding a workaround to support this crappy chip in Ardor3D. I prefer having an obsolete graphics card but with a better driver (ATI Radeon 9250 Pro, Xorg open source driver).
