hola. would a game that uses 3d models in a 2d world(kind of like conquer online, but a side scroller) work with phys2d? i would not use the z axis at all, it would be ortho(think soldat: the models arent really even 3d, just 2d made in a 3d modeller, paper thin). the reason i am thinking about using 3d models is because the thought of animating different images makes me sick. :-[ sorry if i said this in a confusing way, just tell me if u want want a rewrite ;D
If your game logic is 2D, there should be no problem to use phys2D.
that’s what im working on right now as well. 2d based game but drawn in 3d.
