Wordpress and applet

I was bored of my old website. It was an old school one and really annoying to modify.

So I want to give a try to wordpress. It is a really nice CMS. I get good result with the graphic design in a few hours and almost is done. But the problems came when I wanted to add an applet… :-\

I didn’t find any plugin to insert applet in a page. I allways have the possibility to add manually the html code for the applet but it disappear when I make update and I can’t use the editor.

Anyone using wordpress out there that can say me how he deals with applet ?

Thanks.

I end up to do myself a plugin for WordPress. It was not that complicated after all (I just have to find the right words to put in google :P). I will share this plugin when my website is up.

Hi!

I use Wordpress.com, not Wordpress.org. Applets are allowed only if you have your own server :frowning:

Its the best idea, wordpress supports a lots of plugins, and you can use many of the designs… goahead,

We have Applets enabled at our Wordpress blog, we have created a new page template for that. For example, Floating Islands have Applet enabled, some others games only have webstart.

Also, I believe there is a plugin to avoid Wordpress to automatically remove your custom code.

However, I’d like to see your plugin, it could be really useful.

Which plugin?

The plugin is raw html in wordpress.

I suppose you should have your own wordpress still.
