Hi!

Where can I find a decent documentation of the markup “shortcut” of JNLP? I have only found this:

Thank you. It does not work in my case. It is impossible to create a shortcut nor from the cache viewer (the button is disabled) neither when launching the application:

Hi!

When I remove it:

<update check="always" policy="always"/>

it does not work, it does not change anything.
Whatever the value of the attribute “online” of the element “shortcut”, it does not work.

I’m under Linux. Do shortcuts of Java Webstart work under this family of operating systems?

hi, i am on ubuntu and java desktop shortcuts work pretty well on that system (but I think start menu shortcuts won’t work).
