Even when I’m not gaming, I’m starting to feel like I’m getting a gamer’s neck. :-\
Depends on the mood and stuff. Sometimes I sit properly, but most of the time I sit in poor posture.
I sit slouched about 80% of the time, dont have any back problems.
I think that humans naturally go into the most convenient and thus healthy position.
Actually forcing yourself to sit “propper” is causing lower back problems:
Of course, actually doing some sport has major benefits to eventual back problems.
(plus get a propper office chair; just as with your bed, you use it for many hours per day,
thus the price per hour of use is quite low compared to many other expensive toys)
Table tennis works okay?
I can beat you anytime, anywhere. :point:
If I am on a chair I generally sit a little slouched, I am usually on the couch though with one of those breakfast things, the table that goes over your lap lol.
It’s best to sit with a > 90 degree angle between your thighs and chest. <3 my Steelcase Leap chair, but I still slouch a bit. I also have a hard time not sitting on one of my legs, even though it is terribly uncomfortable after about 10 minutes.
I lie down and code. Always.
If I try to slouch, I fall off my stool. :
(In the mornings I have to sit on a stool because my desk gets really hot in the sunlight, and then later in the day I’m too lazy to move back.)
I have my beautiful zebra striped chair with its graceful straight back… And I still slouch and put my forearms on my desk… My posture isn’t that bad, and every once in a while I correct myself for fear of my back hurting the rest of my life! But hey, it sucks having to wear glasses because you need to lean in to see everything on the monitor clearly… I just can’t help it!
Sunlight? I board up all the windows to keep that nasty stuff out, that is if I happen to be awake during the day.
But sunlight is the best! The only reason I don’t like it is because I get up early, and when the sun starts to rise I know my family is starting to get up, which means noise and distractions Mornings are my favorite time because they are so peaceful… I sacrifice sleep for an extra hour of peace and I love it!

I don’t slouch overly much, but I have a habit of resting my head on my left hand which turns my body. I hate sunlight when I code ;D
I look like I am in some sort of yoga position with my ass borderline in the air.
Oh, you all code indoors?
I hike into the middle of the woods, 3 days of “coding” at a time.
My family worries.
But if I am ever in danger I simply tug 3 times on the trail of extension cords…
Daisy chain them cords like its your job…
