it appears beneath my name :o
and i noticed that it’s Jr./Sr. xxx for others
n00b = newbie. This means a person who is a newcomer to a certain field or area. In the case of it being under your name that’s based on the number of posts you have, so as you post more it’ll change to something else.
n00b = noobie = newbie = beginner
so depressing…
I don’t know if it is so depresing, but it is not correct entirely. A person is a newcomer to THIS forum, but he may have a better java knowledge then a person with 500 posts here. And when another, “real” noob read his posts, he maybe wont listen to him and wont respect his opinion - he could say, bah, he is just another noob…
So, I suggest that it would be better to call them “a newcomers”, “fresh to the forum” or something like that.
n00b != newbie
n00b is more of an insult i think, it describes someone who thinks they not it but dont, or something like that.
You all are reading WAY too much into it. I changed it to JGO n00b, ok?

Yeah, you are Ninja, it’s easy for you
Just kidding. I think it is much better now. There are more important things in the world, but since earl mentioned it…
i was just kidding and didn’t really mean it ;D
thanks any way.
btw, would you do me another favor to change that of mine to Ninja or something else? ;D ;D
One of my colleagues (back when I had a job) was talking about what a great word “n00b” is and another person I worked with was asking “what is a n00b?”
The best answer we could come out with was “anyone who has to ask that question…”
i sympathize with your miserable experiences of working with such silly skunks as in real life those who frequently throw similar questions as “what’s the meanings of money and dignity” to our nobles. 8)
