When someone seriously gave you a card name and said “please contact me”, What I have to do? send email, call? And what to say?

As there was an explicit request to contact, my bet is that you should contact him in the way you prefer, or deem most likely to have the effect you’re looking for, whatever that may be.

So the situation is you won a compo. Then someone came to you and do that. I want to email them but dunno what to say inside it, or just about how to start a conversation.
just remember them where you met and who you are and then go straight to the part where you ask for a job^^

Nah since english isn’t my native language.
Also really depends on your relationship… if its just someone, you may use a template somehow, but if you have met already, I dunno - it would be kinda impersonal.
I’m not native english speaker too. Maybe I should play safe and give lots of courtesy until they say something

If you want the job but don’t want to ask for it, maybe drop a small “hint” that you’re interested in the position. If they want to give you a job they will pick up the hint and give you an offer, in which case its uphill from there for you.

So promote yourself, tell them what your skills are and projects and stuff
The tech market is doing well, and is expanding, and recruiters are trying to get a jump on it. I’m getting a ping a week from recruiters now after having done basically nothing on my linkedin profile except add Scala to it.
I see, so I guess I’ll send an email to say “hi”.
However, last trivial questions but I want to know:
- What should I say on subject? ;D
- Should I straight to brag about myself, or just say something like “I have read your company site and very impressed to your works”???
- Good time to email it. I think it’s saturday or sunday since it wont bother to their email works. Maybe they’ll read it on calm weekend evening drinking tea and have good mood.

I’ve always preferred redbull for quality although on those long night, get me a mother, plus the strato jump was great but I think he should of held onto his freefall for longer and broken two world records, longest freefall and highest freefall. -hijacked

Usually it seems better to talk if it’s about job negotiations (-> call) but an email is easier if there is a language barrier, since you can research proper letter styles for the language. Also an email allows you to attach a CV, or example work (code, graphics, …) to show your skill levels.
I thinkt he usual order is to call, do some tak, find out what sort of information they want from you, and then email or send the documents.
Unless you know the people from the company well already, I’d say try, some more formal style. I am not used writing English letters, but I’d think of something like this:

Dear Mr. ABC,
we briefly met at (fill occasion) and you gave me your card, with the request to contact you, since you have a job offer for me. I’m very happy about this offer and quite interested in the job.
You saw my contest winning game already, please let me know if you want me to send a formal application letter, and which additional documents you want me to include.
I’m looking forward to your response, and the chance to work in your/the company.

Well, maybe not quite … maybe the native English speakers here can help? I’d defintiely try to keep it short as a first contact, the business people all are pressed for time and do not want to read novels.
Unless you know about their working style, you can’t guess a good time I assume. Most business persons whom I know get dozens or more emails a day, and the best you can hope for, is that yours is not arriving right in between very annoying other emails.
