yeah I guess youāre right. Iām at 37. Anyway with kids around is almost impossible to have silence. And when they go to bed Iām tired and canāt even program a lineā¦

Perhaps related: as folks get older, they are more likely to listen to talk or news radio than musicāor at least, that has been my observation. (Though I never do this while coding.)
Iām also reminded of the adult saying to the kid: āa place for everything and everything in its placeāāwhich I think may have more to do with adultsā degrading memory than kids lack of sense of order.
So, maybe there is an age-related physiological/cognitive basis.
