Absolutely. The mainstream music today is, well, absolute crap. If it was actually good, I’d be fine with liking what everyone else likes! But since no one seems to like rock or metal anymore, apparently that classifies me as a hipster. Hell to the no, I hate the general idea of the modern day hipster, sitting at Starbucks writing their romance novel and sipping on some expensive ass coffee. Just please no. I like the music I like because I like it, not because someone else likes it. I’m not a hipster because of it, and I hate when people say that.
