What methods of reading Java codes makes you read codes more productive?

Syntax highlighting works fine, but I started to feel like I wanted to change the color scheme every so often. Colors I picked out started to bug me and my brains now and then, and they just don’t… stick. :-\

I don’t recommend changing color scheme often unless it really hurts your eyes. I find that any color scheme that isn’t what I’m used to automatically makes my code less readable to me. Other than that, try hitting ctrl-shift-f once in a while

I like the default colour scheme of eclipse. Also I like this scheme of Xcode for Java.

Cause it’s cool to my eyes. Also I won’t prefer dark themes.

The white is already burning when I look at it here in the browser
Sublime Text 2 it is for me

I use a black/grey eclipse theme with light writing. It is so much easier to look at.

I’ll for a screenshot up when I’m home lol

You should try adjusting monitor settings!
I don’t know about other monitors, but mine has few premade brightness, contrass options.
I has text, sport (whatever that means :D), games, internet and movies. I use text one most of the time, since it is really dim and doesn’t hurt my eyes.
When I play games, I use game one. When I watch movies I use movie one. It really is pretty awesome

Took a while to get used to dark pastel colour themes but it strains the eyes less so feels good.

Also I use f.lux to automatically adjust monitor brightness.

I missed Markus_Persson before he was God. :’( sniff
