I always wondered why one would need a backlit keyboard anyway.
The only thing I can think of: Light the proximity of the desk to find your smartphone to turn on the room lights.
It looks cool plus I loooove to code/game in the dark and that way I can see the keys still
See the keys?
You look at the keyboard when you type?
See the keys?
You look at the keyboard when you type?
Sometimes, if I lose track of them
I remember when I was still in middle school I couldn’t type without looking down at the keys. The constant swivel my head had to do to keep an eye on my typing and looking at the screen to make sure I wasn’t typing nonsense was really tiring, and I was always envious of people who could type without looking at their keyboard.
Now I look back on those days and smile. I was a… a noob! I also typed REALLY loud!
Opiop, I’m going on three times your age and still look at the keyboard. I just have zero manual coordination
@Soul Foam: Let’s see the first ones who answer with that they don’t know what keyboard they used, 'cause they didn’t look at it for the last ten years and cannot remember anymore
Apple A1048 wired keyboard here :emo: Spilled some water on it once. After cleaning and putting it back together i realized left ctrl isn’t working. And im too lazy to fix it
Thinking of buying a mechanical one.

Matias has some great Apple-esque mechanical keyboards.
A dirty and dusty 2012 Razer Lycosa. Definitely needs an upgrade. I knew nothing about keyboards at the time. :persecutioncomplex: It has worked like a charm all this time, though!
