There is hundreds of plugin & non-plugins Web3D engine, once again Microsoft do the job, they will make it native in IE 8 and plan to give user acces to a Web 3D engine as advanced as the cryengine2 … with WPF… dont know if I have to be happy or sad…

Note that DX can be used in IE from V 5.0 but it has never been really used, so maybe WPF will not be used too, but I dont think so, MS know that Web 3D is a great market place nowadays and I guess they will promote enougt around them product…
So long as they add Live for Windows and Games for Windows support, then Java will be in the best position it has ever been
