I just purchased the eGeForce FX5700LE with 256 mb and AGP. Installed it and system seems to run fine, installed all current drivers for all required components and all seemed well until I fired up a game…arghhh…CGA! It looked like the old blue, green, pink you get when your 286 booted up, about 8 colors. Poking around some forums, the thought process was…bad card… and I should not get an LE anyway. Any recommendations? Don’t want to break the $200 mark.
Hum… I’ve seen similar problem with a friend of mine who brought the same card as you… finally he changes it for an ATI.
But you should try to install the OmegaDrivers… It’s unofficial drivers but it works perfectly with almost all cards, so test it before selling your card

without launching a battle, I took it back and found out they have had a number come back because of overheating. Got an ATI Radeon 9600XT as a replacement. WIll see if it surpasses my GeForce II MMX when I get home! LOL
