I own…

NES
Famicom
N64
GBA

Genesis
Sega CD
Saturn
Dreamcast

Playstation

PC (Sim City’s the only game I ever play)

I’m about thiiiiiiis close to buying a GameCube.

my favorite is my Saturn. I love it.

Not to be overly pedantic or anything - but somehow PC is understood to be an Intel comaptible platform with some version of doze installed, while Linux is just that - a system with linux on it. “win32” would have been a better name for the “PC” platform, IMO.

You have to be kidding! I remember coding and playing games on the VIC. Cartridges in the back, Mission Impossible! Buccaneers Den! You could hardly call it gaming… if you can however, I’d like to add

ZX81
NASCOM

To my list

Kev

Hi
Where is the BBC B+ from the list huh, well???

I have:

Leif ( 14 )
Kim ( 12 )
Nils ( 8 )
Sina ( 5 )

;D

Does my skateboard count as a ‘game system’ at all?

I absolutely agree. If I run Linux, do I have to mark “Linux” and “PC” or only “Linux”?

Hi
I recon both, you tick both, your average windows user ticks one. Sounds about right, linux has to be at least twice as usefull

oh, wait, I have windows on my desktop, hmm, I have a dev box with linux on it, and a few servers, please don’t hurt me for it

“PC” was changed to “Windows” now. Luckily I already removed my vote for PC before.

I think you just have to vote for your favorite system(s). ???

I still use my N64 from time to time.

How are we supposed to indicate which of the systems in the poll is our favourite? Surely that would need a second set of tickboxes?

This year, I 'ave mostly been playing… my GameCube. And my GBA SP. And Dreamcast. And PS2.
[/fastshow]

I added both to the list I own, so here is my fav, it’s the win box for games i’m affraid, that might be something to do with the fact that it has a geforce 4, an athlon 2100 and .5 gig of ram, compared to a geforce 2, a 1ghz athlon and 256meg ram. One of my favorite games is MS flight sim (I don’t sit there for hours doing flights, I tend to prat around in the hills or buzz things in choppers), but being directx I have to have a win box, and it needs the power, so it has to be the power box, at which point, everything else ends up on it and it’s my main box. The usefull things like dhcp, dns, web, vpn, nat, iptables etc sit where they belong though.

Chris, you must not be married! ;D

ANyway, my list is probably the shortest for video games:

Genesis
Commodore 64 (with all eequipment and 500 disks)
PC

Now for pen and paper, I have over 34 titles alone, for a combined total of 300 plus books…

Atari 2600
C64
Amiga

Nice to see that quite a few people here know those “good old” homecomputers and game consoles.
For these machines even today a few (very vew) games are still being produced. For the Lynx for example there will be a new game soon: http://www.duranik.com (next to some demos for Jaguar and Falcon)
Now that’s nostalgia…

Just added GameGear to the collection

Jeez, I’m deeply impressed :o

I only own:
Win32
Atari Mega 2
MSX-2
ZX-81
