Someone on my site posted on my forums this message in regards to Rimscape:
“have never managed to get this game to work, always get an “unable to launch specific application” messeage”
Does anyone know what would cause this result? I don’t know what to say because I don’t know what it could mean. Thanks!
Someone else posted an error that I don’t understand:
"I can’t even run it 
Webstart gives this error…
An error occurred while launching/running the application.
Category: Invalid Argument error
Could not load file/URL specified: C:\Documents and Settings******\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\O52VOPQB\rimscape[1].jnlp"
The first error just means that an error occured and the program could not launch. If you want information about what actualy caused the error, your user would have to click the ‘Details’ button on the dialog they are shown.
I’ve seen that with wurm as well.
Ask them to clear their temporary internet files, and it should work.
Seems like a bug with webstart(?).
the guy told me what was in his details and it was the same error as the second one I posted
