TWL and Libgdx Desktop

Hey everyone,

I’ve been searching a simple tutorial on how to use TWL with a Libgdx Desktop Game, but i couldn’t find anything relevant (or i just didn’t understand :D). So i was wondering if one of you guys have any link that could be helpful.

I’m trying to achieve an isometric tiled based Tactical RPG. I’m just at the beginning but i already have some screens and i just wanted to have a better UI.

TWL seems to offer more possibilities than Scene2D that’s why i wanna try it !

TWL is probably more advanced, but there are few systems as easy to use as scene2d, so I’d suggest you give it a shot anyways. For TWL: http://dpk.net/2011/03/10/libgdx-and-twl/
I haven’t personally followed this article, but I have followed other tutorials by the same author.

Yeah that is one of the articles i’ve seen, but i can’t get this code to work :confused: It’s an Android example so maybe it misses something to work on a desktop game ?

I’ve found some posts saying that LibGDX does not support TWL anymore, that would explain the lack of tutorial about that… I guess i’ll use Scene2D then.
