Trouble setting up JOGL using JDK 1.6

Hello,

I am compiling sample code with JOGL 1.1 and JDK 6u1.

The code complies fine, but when I try to run the compiled class, I receive the following error:

My CLASSPATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, LIBPATH environment variables are set to contain the library directory containing the necessary .JAR and .SO files (“jogl-1.1.0-linux-i586/lib/”).

I have tried rolling back to Java 6 and to JDK 1.0; neither resolves the problem.

Searching Google for DynamicLookupHelper doesn’t provide any constructive solution.

I am running SuSe 10.1.

What is the next step in debugging this?!

Thanks very much in advance for the help.

You now need gluegen-rt.jar on your CLASSPATH as described in the JOGL Users’ Guide.
