It is with sinister pleasure that I announce the enslavement of your humble administrator Riven in Puppygames’ cellar. Riven has now quit his full-time job in order to make tea for me whenever I so command it. By nights he dreams of becoming a rock star games programmer, so he writes code for Puppygames now. The results of our efforts will hopefully be available in about 6 months time.

Normal service is likely to be interrupted as I will thrash him with a willow switch if he strays from his giant task-list and tea-making duties. When he returns you may release ra4king from his cage and give him some water.

It certainly is. It was an humbling experience and a bumpy ride, moving my belongings from the basement in my flat to Cas’ cellar. Initially I thought this was going to be a small bullet point on my CV, but in the past weeks it turned out Cas’ taste of tea is rather peculiar. I’ve barely seen the light of day, flipping through oriental magazines, googling for exotic recipes and testing the flavour of various mixes. Only this week he said the overall quality of the brew was ‘OK’ and made me sign this contract. Apart from my tea-making duties, I’ll most likely be introduced to other parts of the company - as I can imagine I’d be the ideal manager of sorts - ensuring that a healthy mutual dependency will keep us BFF for at least well into the next decade.

I have been warned by outsiders not to put all my eggs in one basket, but this is one hell of a basket to lay eggs in. Finally, after nearly half a dozen years of mundane enterpricy-coding, I woke up rather delighted today, with my new found fortune. A few minutes later reality set in, reminding me to fix a nice brew for my overlord.

I am expecting that we will return in 6 months time to find mostly everyone in here turned feral and throwing poo and stones at each other, with ra4king dangling in a cage from the ceiling.

hmm…when I was young my mother used to discipline me and my siblings by letting us go out into the back yard and choose a switch from the willow tree to get whipped with. If the switch was not to her satisfaction then she would go out and choose her own and we did not want that.

I think Riven has it easy.
