That’s highly likely. Most people don’t realize that becoming a butt buddy is an opt out process, not an opt in process. You must register your name, address, phone number, and email with the self regulating Butt Buddy Industry Board. In four to six weeks you should get a rot13 encoded letter asking you to confirm the submission and provide additional identifying information to make sure you’re not forging an opt out request on someone else’s behalf. In another two weeks you get a letter back with a link to install your opt out web browser add-on, which will remain partially activated until you pay a processing fee. At which point you’ll have to reregister every 6 months to confirm you did not change your mind, die, enter a coma, or gain amnesia. If reregistering is too much of a hassle, you can get tattooed and chipped and will only need to register once every ten years. Note that you must repeat a similar but not really similar at all process to register with each individual company member of the Butt Buddy Industry Board. You must also repeat these processes for each butt buddy pairing you want to opt out of. The terms of the Butt Buddy Industry Board are non-negotiable, disputes must be settled by an independent third part Butt Buddy Industry Board butt buddy arbitrator and not in public court, and the terms may change at any time without notice prior or following to the changes. Note that as long as one member of a butt buddy pairing consents to or fails to opt out of the pairing, the opt out is voided until both members agree to the terms and conditions and pay for the opt out fee.
