Thanks for sharing link!

Very nice looking but sure does suck my cpu heh.

Aye, CPU death. The 3D photo one is pretty cool though. Would be nice for screenshots

Shame about the “1,2,3,4” page selection thing at the bottom left - it’s attrocious to use!

Pretty impressive & good looking; but I’m afraid I’d have to say Flash* is just a more pragmatic choice for this type of work. Two out of three that I tried were noticeably jerky on my new-ish laptop running Google Chrome, even with its much-hyped javascript VM. I wonder if as browsers continue to develop, we will see rendering and DOM manipulation etc improve in performance to the point where that is no longer the case. For example, maybe if we load a page like one of these in a years time, it will all be super-efficiently GL accelerated without requiring any change to the DHTML code; could be plausible.

*or silverlight or maybe even java

p.s. Chrome’s spellchecker doesn’t like Google, suggesting “Goggle”, “Googly” or “Go ogle”. I somehow doubt I’m the first to notice this…

Looks very nice. I have no issues at all. Pages load very quickly and move smoothly.

IE6
Win XP
1.0GHz CPU
768MB RAM

Actually, I’ve tried a few more of them now and most of them are very smooth; however Slideshow3d, for instance, is not (nice images in that one, though). Load times are indeed fast for all I’ve tried.

it is amazing that when you came back you always fall on new demos, dont really know how many but seems that there is a lot of.
