Test play JAR and JAD phone games on PC

I have hundreds of java games on my PC for my phone. The only way I know to check them out is to actually install them on the phone. Is there a way to play the games on my PC first?
Thanks so much for you time and help!

If you do any J2ME development you may be able to load them on the emulator that came with whatever SDK you downloaded. I’m not sure though, I can try it out tonight when I get home. Can anyone debunk this sooner?

well, it is actually easy to do - but since this all sounds awfully illegal, I wont be helping out.

you can use emulators to test the games on your computer. But the J2ME one will not be able to run a lot of games since the games often use API’s of the constructors of the phones. So you will have to download the api of the constructor of the phone on which run the game to have their emulator.
Sorry for my english, I just hope you have unserstood me

Whats illegal, is companies trying to sell the shit thats currently available for mobiles ???

I swear most of the crap they churn out is sold outside of the trade descriptions act.

ill advised capital investors, backing disorganised Inefficient Companies, employing ultra-cheap extremely poor game developers, to develop crap game concepts.
Which subseuqently take far far longer to port, require vast quantities of Testing, and in the end delivery an inferior product at a vastly inflated price.

Welcome to game development in the Mobile market.

I used to complain about how crap MIDP1 (and subsequently MIDP2) are.
From a purely hypothetical standpoint - the limitations of the API should be the major factor inhibiting mobile development.
However, I now see the bigger picture - the (vast majority) of management behind the big businesses attempting to take a slice of an ever decreasing pie - are infact completely incompetent.

I welcome the day EA’s mobile division makes a serious move into the J2ME market, some degree of organisation may follow.

Don’t get me wrong - I hate what EA have done to the PC & console games markets.
However, anything can be better than the half-assed business’s currently ‘running’ the J2ME games market.

So so glad this is an anonymous rant ;D
