Swine flu...

Oh no, I don’t want to die again!

So you already died twice? Once by bleeding and once by SARS?

No, I’m joking, I’ve never died!

So… to put things in perspective, 0.0000246% of the world population is infected.

And 0.0000000153% never died!

I heard SUN/Oracle is planing to provide a respawn point near the moscone center @ java one (for NetBeans users only say the rumours).

All innocent joking aside. In ~1918 there was a slow spread that was pretty harmless but very contagious, yet a few months later millions otherwise young and fit adults died in the second sweep.

Well if you die then you’re dead. And that’s that. What’s the big deal? It’ll be interesting checking out the next life.

That’s what a zombie would say! :v

Btw are you still eating that brain?

Mmm… braaaaaaains…

THERE BETTER BE JAVA!

Considering Europe was in shambles after the first world war in 1918, I don’t think it’s a very fair comparison.

I hope Corvinex is happy now that the “virus effect” has gained worldwide attention

Same deal in the USA, which wasn’t in shambles at that time.

The (UK) govt will be leafleting everyone next week. Expect to be asked to cough into a tissue rather than over other people and to wash your hands frequently. We’re having a contingency planning meeting at work tomorrow. Probably to plan for the case that someone at work gets it and they might have to get us to work at home for a few days until its clear who else has contracted it. I’m guessing here - will find out tomorrow.

Which film was it that had the prime minister handing out umbrellas to protect against nuclear fallout?
I’ve got this vision of Mr Brown handing out boxes of Kleenex.
While I’m about it … unemployment is caused by pixies (same film) :persecutioncomplex:
;D

Erm… Maybe;

UGH! Did that passing pig just sneeze on me?!

Obviously all this talk of flu is causing public concern and clear factual information is needed least this escalate into panic…

Swine Flu FAQ

I hope this is about as low as it gets here. Anyone an opinion on 9/11 ?

The ex-wrestler Jesse Ventura has some really cool opinions on the whole thing.

mass hysteria spreads faster than any biological infestation.

following the economic collapse what better way to further subdue its people by to introduce a deadly virus,
yes that should take the heat off the collapse of the worlds society nicely.
People will soon forget the recession just like most of them did with 9/11(which was concocted by america and probably a few other countries, thats another part of a bigger story).
