Sun et al: need a competent dev to upload JOGL

Plea for help…I’ve just uploaded a major upgrade to the JGF server so that it should now be able to handle libraries, automatically webstarting them.

Testing has been long, hard, and painful, but just now I managed to get a JOGL-based game to correctly grab the JOGL descriptor from JGF’s automatic JNLP service, so I’m reasonably confident it’s working. Unfortunately, there’s I’ve no recent games of my own to test with, so I have no way of knowing if it’s really working; I’ve deleted my test run.

Anyway, now we need to get all the core libraries that were listed on the old version of JGF actually uploaded correctly to the new JGF - so that game-authors can simply:

[] select “use library X”
[
] choose which version of X to use
[*] …everything else happens automatically

Someone needs to:

[] Login to JGF
[
] Create a new library named “JOGL”
[] Create a new version, called e.g. “testversion1”
[
] Upload all the files, both JAR and NATIVELIB-JAR, and select appropriate platforms
[] Use the “debug the JNLP” link to see what JNLP file gets produced…
[
] …email me at ceo at grexengine.com (spamfiltered … not a real person’s address) if there’s anything wrong with it
[*] Try uploading a game to JGF and adding your new JOGL library plus the version you created. Ditto about emailing me.

Obviously, anyone with a JOGL game to try out is welcome to upload their game and see if it works with the JOGL library (as soon as someone’s uploaded it, or they’ve uploaded it themself).
