hey all! well the topic says it all! im a programmer and have made some tiny games in c/c++ and for some arcane reasons wanna make a game in java. it would be small project and the game would be stand alone right now… hmm… so it would be great if few noobies get together for this. and it won’t eat up all of ur time…

what sort of game u looking to make 3d/2d ? any way some cool java2d examples out there, also if you need hardware accelerations you could alway uses one of the hardware bindings for OpenGL such as LWJGL or jogl!
thnx for the reply!! im looking to make an isomeric game, and yeah so far it seems that LWJGL is a good choice… even though i have never tried java gaming before … being a newbie and all! i don’t wanna try something very ambitious… but wanna start with beginner stuff i would say coz i do have game programming experience though not in java. anyway… thnx… maybe ill post an idea later…
