Does this have anything to do with games at all? The proposal isn’t clear on what they are intending to do, other than put a picture on my cell phone… and I’m not even sure of that!
I vote no. Doesn’t seem to have any purpose, doesn’t have any declared gaming applicability, doesn’t actually sound much to do with Java.
Use a gyro or a mercury switch to report the current angle of the device, transform image by that angle. While there is some Java involved, it’s really less than 1% of the required effort.
