Sticky threads

I really don’t want to offend anyone with this suggestion.

I think we have too much sticky threads in this forum while some of them don’t need to be sticky anymore. (btw. Is it possible to change the way sticky threads are marked? It is almost unseeable.)

The threads HOWTOs, Xith3D Features and tutorial for Java3D -> Xith3D transition could be released from stickyness.

The howtos are fine now and the discussion has stopped, the features are displayed on xith.org and nobody seems to be willing to write a Java3D->Xith3D transition tutorial or it’s obsolete.

I’m not sure about the Community Build Release Info thread. It hasn’t been used for a while and has been filled up with support issues. And if anybody has written a new part in xith he will always start a new thread, which additionaly is even better as I think.

What do you think?

Just as a side-note : releases are now announced via the xith.org site, with news like this. (Colored in red)

Yes, and a new thread is started additionally. So no need for this sticky thread, right?
