srite and physics papers for game engine

hi :)my group mates and myself are designing a game engine in jogl.

we have papers for rendering,but need recently published papers for 3d sprite techniques as well as physics.
but since we are novices in opengl we are trying for a relatively simple technique.

if we can get that then we can go ahead…
any help here would be awesome…thnks :slight_smile:

Maybe you should not create the physics part yourself, but utilize one of the existing physics libraries like ODEJava or JOODE. If you have enough mathematical understanding to do physics, I think the JOODE team might be happy about a helping hand.
