SpriteLamp alpha released

This morning Finn Morgan wrote on kickstarter:

[quote]Hi all,

The time has come to finally send out the early alpha of Sprite Lamp!

In the event that someone wants to read about how to use Sprite Lamp rather than just jumping in, here’s the beginnings of the manual for Sprite Lamp:

I quickly made my first draft project to test it:

Please, publish your demos here too.
Have fun!

Well, what is this? I have no idea what Sprite Lamp is or who Finn Morgan is.

Hi, opiop65

Sorry for my impatience.

There was this kickstarter a few weeks ago presenting the SpriteLamp (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/finnmorgan/sprite-lamp-dynamic-lighting-for-2d-art")
The tool helps to imitate 3D lightning for 2D games. The feature was discussed in thread topic some time ago: http://www.java-gaming.org/index.php?topic=31101.0

Where can we download the alpha?

This is good timing… just last night I ported my normal map code to WebGL

Well, I received the alpha as a kickstarter backer. I would give it to you, but I’m not sure if it’s allowed. Sorry.

You should ask Finn directly: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/finnmorgan/sprite-lamp-dynamic-lighting-for-2d-art

I hope I’m not the only one here testing it as a backer.

Hey, that looks awesome!

this is so cool ;D is there any way I can get a hold of a copy? paid or free?
