Hello there!
I don’t wanna be mean or anything but… That it’s not a game, so it shouldn’t be here in the first place, and second, you didn’t get 500 downloads from here, this post only has 30+ views! But keep it up!
Sorry ReBirth, my ALU can’t solve your reply. Please recalibrate
(To be clear, I didn’t get what you mean )
If you really want some feedback - this is useless to me (and most other people I suspect). It’s highly dependant on some 3rd party sprites that you admit you ripped from elsewhere and haven’t included a source or license for.
It’s an applet that requires Java 7. Make it not an applet, or remove the dependency on Java 7. And nicking someone else’s art without attribution … >:(
don’t steal other people’s art
Hmm thought I copy and pasted the entire thing when I reposted. It had the attribution as you call it for the creator of the graphics. Let me fix that.
3rd Party sprites? Not sure what that means. The sprites are not loaded else where but from the jar directly. You want me to post the source too? Not really understanding your sentence structure.
The Famitsu site where the sprites came from advertise them as free and the tool used to make them is free as well, but web based and on a very slow server. This program takes care of the slow side of things.
I mean ‘3rd party’ as in ‘not your own’. At the bare minimum you should post the source of the art (and just editing your post to say ‘from Famitsu’ doesn’t count).
Similarly, your edit of “You do require a license to use these” is singularly unhelpful and misleading. No-ones going to use art ripped by someone else from an unknown source with an unknown license. And not giving proper credit yourself is pretty rude IMHO.

Should clear things up.
I also posted “With that said this is for people starting out with programming and would like to experiment with their own character creations.” so I don’t see the problem.
