Sound resources

Hi,

I’m writing a vertical scrolling shoot-em-up in the style of 1942. I’m looking for sounds to represent plane engines, guns, explosions and other related stuff. I also need some in game music. Some kind of old war film ‘biggles’ style music would be good and a variety would be even better.

Do any such (preferrably free or cheap) resources exist?

The reproductions are actually reasonably good, but I don’t know if they’ll have what you’re looking for.
