The following packages will soon be moved to the toolkit CVS:
com.xith3d.loaders.ase
com.xith3d.collider
com.xith3d.terrain
com.xith3d.userinterface (more info)
These are all non-essential packages and there inclusion in the toolkit will allow for more easy community modification. Each will get package level documentation detailing their dependancies (which are none). I also plan to update the contribution guidelines of the toolkit project so we have some sort of consistancy and standards.
The org.xith3d.loader3ds package will be renamed org.xith3d.loaders.loader3ds which is it’s correct location (in the future it’s better to announce upcoming toolkit packages prior to committing, this policy will be written into the forthcoming toolkit contribution guidelines).
Users of those packages may have to update their import statements, sorry for any hassles this may cuase. Apart from that (and the userinterface details specified in the other thread), no other changes will need to be made.
