I know java fairly well and was wondering if anyone can point me to some nice tutorials about game programming in java.

Really, you should NOT be advertising your age if you’re that young.

Unless you’re actually an FBI agent trolling for some perps then by all means go ahead.

But I think most of us here started at a young age; in fact I think I was smarter back then than I am now so good luck.

I wrote my first game when I was 8. (it was text and on a desktop programmable calculator) so your age doesn’t bother me any!

The big thing is not to get head of yourself. You’ve got a lot to learn but plenty of time to learn it. You want to start with something simple. If you’ve written a few java programs before then you are probably ready to tackle something simple and graphical. Think about old 2D arcade games… asteroids, pacman, that sort of thing. They make great first graphical projects.
