Some "art" I made today. Feedback would appreciated ^.^

So I was playing around in Blender today and I made this.

The vertex colours aren’t a texture, they’re just something I spent putting on two minutes prior to posting this. This is what it actually looks like:

(I posted it in WIP because I hope this is the start of a project or game)

The model looks good to me. You can add a better texture at any time later.

I’ve always been a bit scared of the rigging and animating parts. Good luck with that :slight_smile:

Ive always been good with animating and rigging but not great with models! Particularly humanoids.
This looks good though, whats the game?

Cool! What’s the polygon count of this mesh? I need something like this (animated and as keyframes) really badly as a replacement for the (pretty ugly) NPC models in my Android RPG. Any chance that you are interested to create something like this? I would be eternally grateful… :slight_smile:

This a better man that I could make but maybe add a Subdivision Surface for added detail? I’m looking forward to the game thoug.

I’d say my only criticism is the hands, but other than that it looks good!

But I really can’t talk because I haven’t used blender in years :slight_smile: Good job!

I added a bit more detail into it, completed the hands.
Moving on to doing the texturing next.

@opiop65
I was struggling with getting the hands right, but I think I got it now ^.^

@kingroka123
I tested using Subdiv, but it decreased the volume of the person, making him look much skinnier.

@EgonOlsen
I’ll provide you with the .blend file if you want, but I don’t know much about animation. I’m still learning all this blender stuff.
Total amount of tri’s: 1594.

@saucymeatman
Well first I want to design a skeletal animation system. It’s always been a goal of mine to do so, and I feel I’ve learnt enough now that I could at least try.
